Due to the orders of the king Herod king of Jerusalem to kill all new Born the journeys of the Holy family begins through Egypt. Blessing her land from El Arish until El Quossia and Deir El Muharak.

    Along the River Nile from the middle of the Delta (Sakita) until Upper Egypt near Assiut. For three and half years providing Egypt with a wide and extendable Holy Areas with Monasteries, Churches and places entered by the Child Jesus and Virgin Mary.

    We have respected hereunder as you will notified the order of all the visiting sites by the Holy Family starting the Egyptian border at El Arish with small explanation to each place and his importance during the Journey's for 3 and half years to be able to follow on the old Egypt map.

St. Catherine Monastery

Situated 250km southeast of Suez surrounded by bare stones mountains. Marvelous for walking, the site is traditionally that where God manifested himself to Moses in the burning Bush. The Monastery was built in 527, the principal attractions are the Basilica of Justinian, the Chapel of the Burning Bush, the Old refectory covered with graffiti from

14th to 16th Century and the Library with the richest monastic collections of Byzantine Icons.

The Monastery of St. Anthony

Located at 130km south of Suez City and the 45km west into the eastern desert, it is the largest of the Coptic Monasteries surrounded by high walls Build Beneath the Cliffs of Mount Kalalah. Some of 680 meters elevation at 276 meters above Monastery the St. Anthony's cave a climb is worth it for the view guided by a monk. The Monastery look like a village with streets. There are several Churches decorated with frescoes the oldest structure in the Monastery is the church of St. Anthony Built over the Saints tomb by his disciples. He has lived 105 years dying in 356AC.

·         From Mir they went to Kascam Mountain where now exist the Monastery of El Muharak (6 monthes and 10 days journeys) and until they return in Maadi and Old Cairo to Palestine.

·         El Muharak Monastery (327km South Cairo) and (48km North Assiout) Every year inauguration day on 15 November. It is considered to be the only Church in the world which was Blessed by Jesus and purified in every corner by the Holy Family.

·         On the return the Holy Family the stayed on the DarNaka Mountain (8km South West Assiout) and the Angel Church is located their with its 12 Donus at El Durnuka's Monastery.
